You’d think in this day and age, especially here in South Africa, that people would be allowed to fall in love with whoever they like. What did they fight for all those years ago if not the right to choose? But prejudice is still prejudice. You just need to know where to look for it. Take Zach and me. I don’t know of one single person who would be happy to hear that I was dating him. Not that I am dating him. But I think about it. A lot. The shrink I’m seeing these days says I should be honest about my feelings.
